Battle of Grunwald

1410 15 July battle took place between the joint Lithuanian and Polish forces and the Teutonic Order, which culminated in the recent rout, after which he never recovered. Various sources estimate that the battle lasted one and a half days attended 25 000-85 000 people and killed - 15 000-50 000. Lithuanian-Polish side took part in hiring Tatar, Moldavian, Czech forces, supported by the Teutonic Knights from the various countries of Western Europe. Battle took place in the Order of the area to the south and west of Olsztyn, including Griunfeldo (confusingly called Grunwald), "Stebark", "Stablaukio" and "Liudviksdorfo" villages (at the time - in Prussia, now - the Polish territory).
